Boba Studios is a game developer studio founded in 2016 based in Baltimore, Maryland. It was formed in spring 2016 by a group of students at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Boba Studios handles both front- and back-end development of its proprietary software, and launched its debut effort, Squirrely Roo Rabbit, in December of 2016.Squirrely Roo Rabbit is an in-development color mixing puzzle-platformer game focusing on color theory with a pop-up book aesthetic.

Featuring over 50 tech and gaming companies, the Job Fun Fair will promote career opportunities by connecting people with employers while also creating a fun space for everyone to engage with one another. Aside from bother video games and board games to play, the Job Fun Fair will have resume reviews, free headshot photography, and food!
For anyone interested in a gaming career, we at Boba Studios are of course open to talk at our table.

This Saturday, Boba Studios will present Squirrely Roo Rabbit at The District Arcade, a free video game expo hosted by IGDA DC! The District Arcade is located in the home of the IGDA DC chapter meetings, Bravo bravo dc.
The District Arcade is a FREE, public event with games from nearly 30 indie developers as well as many classic titles! Food and beverages can be purchased on-site from the Bravo Bravo bar.

Today only! Come to MICA Game Lab’s Fall Arcade 17 from 1 - 5 PM to play games by Maryland Institute College of Art game design students!
Games include Echo, a game created Miki Straus, Glo Wan, and Boba Studios’ own Ashley and Don!
Echo is a 2D documentary-style exploration game that follows the journey of a bat, Echo, who is searching to reunite with her colony after a cave collapse displaces them. Echo uses her echolocation ability to navigate through the forest, avoid a …number of obstacles and dangers, and guide the other lost bats to their new home.
